"White Rose and Silver" was painted as part of a 31 day challenge of painting from life. I bought a white rose thinking that I would use it for a couple of days of painting. The rose remained fresh and ready to model for me for 11 days. I developed a love hate relationship with my rose. I figured as long as it was still looking great I would continue to use it as my daily painting subject matter. This piece is day one of my white rose series.
This painting is on a 1 5/8 deep canvas so does not need to be framed.
