"Afternoon on Armona Island" was painted from pictures taken on Armona Island the same day I did a Plein Air painting there. The morning was drizzly and gray. The skies were incredible and changing constantly. Within a few hours the skies were clear and the sun was shining. I have beautiful memories of that Fall day in Olhao, Portugal.
