This piece was painted from life. It is the entry hallway of an Ontario heritage home built in 18782, not a fancy home but a syndicate house built for workers of the local tannery. I loved painting the light, it’s reflections on the ceiling, the abstracted scenes from the frames on the wall and the extra large baseboards that lead us to the door.
