This piece was painted from life. It is a scene from my front window, in Ontario Canada on a beautiful sunny but cold winter day. I am always more attracted to the play of shapes between houses than an actual front view of a house. The inclusion of the cars here gives the scene more life and are a particular challenge to get down on canvas before they drive away.
