“Looking down to the path” Is a small Oil Painting study from a view at the Milton Pond in Milton, Ontario. It was done as part of a daily painting challenge where I decided to document my daily walkS through small daily paintings. It is done in a painterly fashion with expressive brushstrokes. The Milton pond is one of my favourite walking spots with the dog. It’s a little piece of paradise right in the middle of town, beautiful through all seasons and a painting subject that I like to come back to again and again.
