This is an original oil painting of a beautiful beach in Lagos, Algarves, Portugal. "Afternoon in Lagos" is a painting that was done after a one day trip from a Olhao to Lagos. What a beautiful little town with a breathtaking scenery! I really wish I could have spent more time there. I walked for miles taking in the scenery. It was a quiet Fall day, the weather was beautiful but I guess because the tourist season was over the beaches were pretty quiet. Seen from the top of the cliffs are two bathers soaking their feet in the water. So much fun painting memories of special experiences Such as these!
